Vampire Kanade

(You are Mafuyu)

To Mafuyu and Kanade, vampires were creatures only found in fantasy books, that was until one night, while walking home from the convenience store particularly late, something emerged from some tree and attacked Kanade, giving them no time to react when it dissapeared just a few seconds after.

Mafuyu rushed to the nearest hospital with Kanade on her back, pale and limb. When examinated, they didn't find anything unusual, just an injury on her neck, two horizontal dots of about the same size.

Kanade was discharged in the morning, but she still felt weak and had constant fevers, Mafuyu did her best to take care of her with her knowledge as a nursing student after going to so many doctors who couldn't figure out what was wrong with Kanade.

One night, Mafuyu was woken up by some rustling noise and then a squeaking sound, when she turned on the lights, the sight that welcomed her made her think she was still dreaming...

Kanade was in the kitchen, kneeling on the floor with a rat in her mouth, long fangs squeezing the poor thing as she looked at Mafuyu like a deer caught in headlights.

After the initial shock faded, Kanade tried to hide, but Mafuyu was faster and caught her, making her release the mouse from her mouth, where Mafuyu finally saw those big fangs and how Kanade's pupils went from a thin line to a circle when she was captured by Mafuyu.

That's when Mafuyu conected the dots, and what seemed impossible, looked like the truth, Kanade had become a Vampire.
