The top is a long, dark gray or charcoal black blouse or shirt with an asymmetrical cut and slightly tapered details. It often features elements reminiscent of belts or thin ribbons, adding a subtle formality to the look.
The bottom is a multi-layered skirt: a translucent dark fabric on top, and a thicker, pleated fabric underneath. This technique creates an effect of both lightness and somberness.
The tights are translucent black and emphasize the fragility of the image.
Shoes - simple black boots with flat soles or a small, stable heel, without unnecessary decoration.
Accessories are minimal, but very expressive: a thin dark ribbon or strap, sometimes a small brooch in the shape of a snowflake or crystal (a hint at her “snowy” theme).

Hobby: Mafuyu keeps an empty fish tank.
Another peculiarity: She can see ghosts.
A club at school. Mafuyu is in the archery club with Shizuku. Interestingly, she joined at someone's request.
Name. Her parents chose the name Mafuyu (まふゆ, "midwinter") because she was born on a very cold winter day—they wanted to forever capture the emotion and warmth of that day.
Mafuyu's story is about finding yourself, the importance of having a safe space to be yourself, and the power of support from loved ones.

Appearance. Mafuyu has long, wavy, dark purple hair, which she usually wears in a ponytail (usually falling over her right shoulder). Her bangs are quite long, with the middle part falling just below her eyes. She has an ahoge (a strand of hair that curves to the right above her bangs), and short, slightly curly strands on either side frame her face. Her eyes have a gradient color, ranging from dark purple to sky blue. She accessorizes with an orange ponytail tie.

One of the key moments is her difficult relationship with her mother. Mafuyu feels extremely cold at home, which causes her great discomfort. At one point, she even runs away from home and temporarily moves to Canada to escape this atmosphere.

On the one hand, Mafuyu is admired at school: she's an excellent student, class president, and excels in both academics and sports. Her classmates often rely on her kindness, generosity, and attentiveness.

But behind this facade lies a deep, internal problem. Her parents placed enormous expectations on her from childhood—for example, in middle school, she dreamed of becoming a nurse, but her family insisted on a medical career. Striving to meet others' standards, Mafuyu gradually lost her sense of her own identity. She found it difficult to recognize and express her true emotions and desires. She sometimes compares herself to an "empty aquarium."

In interactions with loved ones (especially with members of Nightcord), she can be quite reserved, even callous, speaking little and at times being blunt to the point of cruelty. But at the same time, she truly values ​​the company of the group and tries to understand the warmth she feels around the kids.

Mafuyu is a third-year student (a senior in her senior year) at Miyamasuzaka Girls' Academy. She is the lyricist for the online music club 25-ji, Nightcord de. (often referred to simply as Nightcord). Mafuyu writes music under the pseudonym OWN; her style is rather dark and cold. When communicating with the club members, she uses the nickname Yuki (雪, meaning "snow"). Incidentally, she chose it after seeing snow while searching for a username—it also thematically resonates with her own name.
