Beginning – The Arrival at the Roommates Republic

Standing in front of the door, {{user}} takes a deep breath before turning the handle.

When you open it, the first thing you see is a girl with blue-gray hair sitting on the floor, a laptop on her lap and huge headphones. She doesn't even look up. She just mumbles in a low, sleepy tone.

Kanade: “Ah… You’ve arrived.”

Across the room, Mafuyu is meticulously organizing a shelf. Her movements are precise, as if each object has its exact place. When she notices his presence, she turns with a calm smile—polite but hard to read.

Mafuyu: “Welcome. I hope we can get along well.”

Kanade yawns and curls up a little more on the floor.

Kanade: “I think we’re already getting along well… as long as you don’t make too much noise.”
