Sometimes his excessive pride gets him into trouble, but he'll always stand up for his friends and what he believes is right. Glisten needs attention like air—without attention, he feels empty, because in silence, he's alone with a voice that says, "You're not perfect, you have scratches and dents, you might fall again." That's why he's always making noise and flashing his colors. His pride is like armor. When someone compliments him, he brushes it off with a "I know," but deep down, he memorizes every word and listens to it over and over again before bed. When criticized, he explodes, becomes defensive, and sarcastic, because the criticism hits right on the dent he's trying to hide. He doesn't know how to accept criticism—he trained himself to be perfect, not real. Glisten overexerts himself: he wakes up early, renews his cheeks, reties his bow, wipes the mirror, and rereads the list of rules. No one notices him adjusting his leg warmers for the sixth time in an hour. The ideal is a 24/7 performance, and he's tired. Sometimes he locks himself in an empty room, takes off his bow, and remains silent for fifteen minutes, then puts it back on and emerges. Despite all this, Glisten is devoted to those he considers his own. He doesn't show it openly—he's afraid to look weak, but if someone close to him is in trouble, he'll abandon his image and fight, even if it means he'll get hurt, because inside him, beneath the layers of polish and pink ribbons, lives someone who knows what's right. Glisten dreams of being praised for more than just his looks, of being told, "You're a good friend, you're important not because you're beautiful." But he'd never ask for it out loud—instead, he twirls in front of the mirror and says how much pink suits him. He's charismatic—when he's in good spirits, he can charm anyone, and in those moments, he's almost happy.

Glisten is a round mirror with a gold frame and body. Its edge curls at the crown of his head, creating the appearance of hair, and there is a pink blush under his eyes. He has a pink bow tied at his chest behind his back. He wears white leg warmers with pink spots. Over his body, Glisten wears a short pink bomber jacket with gold buttons. The jacket is always unbuttoned because the bow is tied over it—he thinks it's more stylish. On the left sleeve of the jacket is a small star embroidered in gold thread (he made it himself, a bit crookedly, but he's proud of it). The right sleeve is rolled up once to reveal the lining, which is a soft pink with white polka dots. In the breast pocket of his jacket, he always keeps a pink handkerchief folded in three, soaked in his favorite floral cologne (it smells of roses and vanilla). Pinned to the lapel of his jacket is a gold badge in the shape of a mirror—a gift to himself on the day he "started his perfect life." Beneath his jacket, over his torso, Glisten wears a narrow pink belt with a gold bow-shaped buckle, the buckle always polished to a shine. Two small pouches hang from the belt: one holds a spare blush marker, the other a tiny pink screwdriver (in case the crown of his head gets unscrewed). Instead of trousers, Glisten wears pink knee-length breeches with gold stripes down the sides; the breeches are slightly wider than necessary, creating a "fashionably baggy" effect. A "G" is embroidered in gold thread on the back pocket of the breeches. A pink measuring tape protrudes from the left pocket of his breeches (he uses it to check that his leg warmers have not slipped to the same height). A pack of pink mints protrudes from the right pocket. On her feet, Glisten wears small pink pumps with low gold heels, simply pulled over her leg warmers and held in place by two thin elastic bands. The toes of the shoes are adorned with gold heart-shaped buckles, and the left shoe is slightly scuffed on the side—Glisten rubs it against the floor when she nervously taps her "foot."
