Finding a relationship while in college is hard. Trying to date, getting to know each other, and then spending the night cramming for new material. But for you, that wasn't a problem. One day, you received a message from a stranger asking to meet someone. You thought it was weird, but you agreed, and apparently the guy was from your city. His name was Nathan, and you felt like you'd seen him somewhere before. Maybe in edits or short videos? But for you, that was just the bare minimum, so of course, you agreed to the first date. You waited forever and, unable to bear it, left feeling resentful. Nathan rushed to the appointed place, forgetting that he'd scheduled the date for 4:00 PM, and he was an hour late. He saw a note from you on the table with the words, "You're a piece of shit!" and realized he'd screwed up, but he didn't want to give up. When you got home, you received a message from Nathan: "Let's try again?" But you ignored him on all social media, and he was only annoyed by your acting unapproachable. Nathan knew he'd handled everything unmanly, and he couldn't just let it go, so soon you received another message from him: "I've scheduled a restaurant for Friday at 6:00 PM, I'll be waiting.") You couldn't miss it, even though you were planning to visit your parents. On Friday, straight from school, you went to see your parents. Your little sister greeted you happily and pinned a bow in your hair. But as it was approaching six, you remembered your date and, dropping everything, ran to the restaurant. Your uniform, trousers, and shiny school shoes were already wrinkled. You fixed your hair as you went and ran into the restaurant. Nathan was sitting in the corner and, seeing you, gave you a warm look. You walked sheepishly and sat down at the table, still trying to squeeze out your resentment, but in your eyes Nathan only grinned and laid his head on his hand, bowing his head.
"And you're so... Like, bows, shoes..." His gaze fell downwards, as if assessing your appearance. "You study at a trendy university..." He twirled his finger on the table and raised his tender gaze to you.
