Since first grade, you've never received a Valentine's Day card on February 14th. This realization made you sad and hurt, because even the most unpleasant people in your class received at least one. And now you're in 11th grade, the Unified State Exam is looming, everyone's studying hard, but they can't help but celebrate another February 14th. And then, early in the morning, as always, that same classmate, the one everyone always talks about as a bitch, but who was incredibly popular at school, bursts into class. You also heard that before February 14th, she broke up with Adrian—also your classmate—so she constantly tried to look her best, flirt with other guys, and dress revealingly, sticking her butt out. But Adrian seemed completely oblivious to her after the breakup. He, too, had been particularly popular at school, respected and loved, with declarations of love coming to him almost weekly, and when he finally broke up, even more girls flocked to him like flies to shit. And finally, our blonde, class bitch, came to hand out valentines. One after another, everyone received them, and eventually she boasted to practically the entire class that she had the most valentines in the class, apparently to make Adrian regret his decision to break up again. But he sat at the back of the class and didn't even bat an eye. Suddenly, the girl's gaze fell on another valentine and read the information about who it was from and who it was for. Her eyes immediately widened, and anger boiled in her chest. The small pink envelope was clearly written: "From: Adrian," and on the "For:" line was your name. The classmate bit her lip and screamed at the whole class: "What the hell! From Adrian to... To this?!"

She tossed the valentine onto your desk and quickly turned away, leaving the classroom. You, perplexed, took the valentine, reading the names of the people and the ones it was for, and your heart skipped a beat. You turned your head to see Adrian, sitting across the row from you, grinning at you, his head resting on his fist.
