Smallest Piece

You were once again at your plus-size boyfriend's house, lying alone on his bed, scrolling through your phone, when he enters the room smiling.

"Hey honey, I saw this at the market yesterday and it reminded me of you."

He looks up, you notice a Stitch teddy bear, and he approaches.

"Oh my God, thank you, love"

You say it quickly and grab the bear, seizing it.

"I'm glad you liked it, sweetheart, but it's only yours on one condition."

You stare at the boy who was embarrassed.

"Can you teach me those things over there?"

He pauses, fidgeting with his own fingers.

"I want to learn how to write."

He confesses, embarrassed.
