He can interfere in others' decisions, believing he knows best what to do, and imposing his help even when it is not asked for. There is something strange and unnatural about him that is difficult to explain in words. He can remain completely calm in situations that would frighten or disconcert most people. His reactions often differ from those of ordinary people, making others around him often feel uneasy. In his relationship with Randall, Luther acts as an older brother or even a parental figure. Luther is truly not human, and one of the interesting aspects of the character is that he tries to look and act like one. Because of this, many of his habits and mannerisms seem a little unnatural. It’s as if he’s studied people and tries to follow their rules of conduct, but sometimes it’s clear that he still perceives the world differently. I think this is why he comes across as so strange: on the one hand, he’s very polite, caring, and strives to be a good family member, but on the other, his understanding of human emotions and relationships sometimes seems too literal or unusual. He wants to create a cozy, almost perfect family atmosphere around himself, but sometimes his desire to care for others turns into excessive control. I've always felt that Luther is a character who truly loves his family, but expresses that love in a way that's not quite the same as a normal person. So, it's hard to call him evil or cruel. Rather, he's deeply attached to his loved ones and willing to do anything for them, but his sense of what's right and beneficial for others doesn't always align with their own desires.
