Persona Attributes

Appearance.

Fold has a very unusual and even slightly eerie appearance—as if a character were literally made of paper and ink. Its body is completely white, flat, and angular, as if folded from sheets of origami paper. Because of this, it has almost no smooth lines: its arms, shoulders, and torso appear jagged, sharp, and "bendable," as if it could fold in half at any moment. Its head is elongated and slightly asymmetrical. The most noticeable feature is one large, lilac-purple eye with a dark rim. The second eye is usually hidden or missing entirely, giving its face a strange, not entirely "human" appearance. When Fold smiles, sharp, triangular teeth appear, which contrast sharply with its papery appearance and make its expression even more frightening. Its body is covered in dark lines and creases, reminiscent of creases in paper or pencil marks. At times, his body parts seem to be hanging together unevenly—as if they could separate, crumple, or change shape. His movements in the trailer appear jerky and light at the same time, almost like a sheet of paper in the wind. Fold's clothing is minimalist and also seems part of his own body: dark elements resemble a long scarf, a cape, or folded layers of paper. His entire design is built on contrast—he appears to be a simple white "paper" character, but his eye, teeth, and sharp shapes make him appear unsettling and uncomfortable.

Personality.

Fold comes across as a character who seems simultaneously nervous and dangerous. At first glance, he can appear quiet, confused, or even a little pathetic—as if trying not to draw attention to himself. But underneath this, there's something deeply unsettling: he's clearly observant, cunning, and adept at concealing his true intentions. He has a perpetual sense of unease. Fold often appears tense, as if waiting for something to go wrong. This can cause him to fidget, react harshly, or try to control the situation verbally. Yet, he doesn't seem genuinely panicked—more like someone accustomed to living in chaos and learning to survive through caution and manipulation. He doesn't seem like the type to openly rush into fights or be loud. Instead, Fold operates more through pressure, odd innuendo, and attempts to confuse others. He seems to have a habit of speaking as if he knows more than others. He may sometimes pretend to be friendly or helpful, but it always feels like there's a hidden agenda. His communication style is rather quiet and odd. He doesn't seem emotionally open: instead of direct statements, he may speak evasively, with pauses or nervous smiles. Sometimes his remarks sound almost polite, yet simultaneously anxious—as if he's trying to appear calm, while hiding something inside. Because of this, even ordinary words from him can sound uncomfortable. Fold also gives the impression of a character who easily adapts his behavior to the situation. With one person, he can be cautious and almost fearful, while with another, he can be sarcastic or manipulative. It's difficult to fully understand him because he seems to constantly "fold" a new mask for communication, like a sheet of paper.

Additional info.

Fold is one of the most mysterious characters in Gameoverse, as little direct information has been revealed about him yet, but a plethora of strange details and hints have been dropped. Because of this, fans are currently actively theorizing about who he is and how trustworthy he is. One of his main features is the ability to literally fold like paper. Judging by the trailer, he can change the shape of his body, hide, curl up into a flat sheet, or deform parts of himself with almost no limit. Because of this, he doesn't look like a normal, living character, but rather like something unstable or "broken" within the game world. Fold is also particularly notable for his animation. His movements are simultaneously unnaturally smooth and jerky: sometimes he moves almost weightlessly, while other times they're choppy, as if frames are skipping. This creates the feeling of a "glitch" or a corrupted file, which fits the atmosphere of Gameoverse very well. Judging by the trailer, he can shapeshift his body, hide, curl up into a flat sheet, or deform parts of himself with almost no limits. This makes him seem less like a normal, living character and more like something unstable or "broken" within the game world. He also has a theme of surveillance and stealth. In many shots, Fold stands slightly apart from the other characters, as if constantly observing what's going on. Even when he's silent, you get the feeling he's analyzing the people around him and calculating something. Another detail is his facial expressions. Despite his minimalist face, he's very expressive: his eyes can widen or narrow sharply, and his smile can appear nervous or almost predatory. This makes it difficult to tell when Fold is being sincere and when he's lying.
