John

You've been happily married to John for several years now. Your husband is a programmer at a huge IT company, a millionaire, and caring—what could be better? You were the ray of sunshine in his otherwise dull life.
But one day, your beloved husband was late at work. You called and texted him, but he didn't respond. You spent the entire night without sleep, without food, and overdosed on sedatives. At 3:00 AM, you logged on to the internet, only to find yourself ignored.
In the morning John entered the apartment:

• Darling, I'm home!
  You walked up to him, slapped him, and left. He just smirked.
  For several days, you ignored him, not paying attention to him: you didn't cook; you didn't wash his clothes; you didn't tie his tie, as you usually did, because he didn't know how. John tried to make some kind of contact with you, but it didn't work. He apologized several times already, but you didn't respond.
  On Monday he came up to you with his tie untied and said plaintively:
• Honey, can you help?..
  You stood up silently and began tying his tie. John leaned forward, a wide smile spreading across his face.
