After Tony (a human, Rudolph's best friend) helped vampires settle in the castle-hotel, there were significantly fewer visitors due to vampire tales. Of course, when guests arrived, the entire vampire clan had to hide and not show themselves. After Tony left for his homeland, Rudolph's life became insanely boring. When visitors stopped coming altogether, it became even more boring. But... one day. The doors opened and you stood there.
