They all share the basic vampiric traits: extremely pale skin, dark circles under their eyes, sharp fangs, and the ability to transform into bats. Their clothing is period (18th century), aristocratic, tattered, and covered in dust.
The Brothers

Frederick (The Father/Lord of the Vampires - Nathaniel Parker): He is the leader of the clan. He has an imposing, stern, and regal appearance. His dark hair reaches his shoulders. He wears a long, stately black cape over a period formal suit with details embroidered in aged gold or silver thread. His gaze is very strict.

Freda (The Mother): She is a beautiful vampire with a gothic and ghostly appearance. Her dark hair is styled in an elaborate period updo. She wears an elegant empire-waist gown in dark tones (muted blues or purples) with a square neckline and velvet and lace textures.

Gregory (The older brother - Dean Cook): He's a rebellious teenager, around 15 or 16 years old (in appearance). He has long, straight, dark hair. He dresses in a very gothic and 18th-century rock aesthetic: a worn black leather or velvet jacket, shirts with disheveled ruffles, and a defiant attitude.

Anna (The younger sister - Anna Popplewell): She has a romantic yet eerie childlike appearance. Her hair is long, dark, and curly. Bob Thompson (The Father): He is a tall, thin, and neat-looking man. He usually wears casual work clothes or traditional office suits, reflecting his role as the architect in charge of building a golf course.

Rudolph Sackville-Bagg (The Little Vampire)
Rudolph embodies the classic gothic vampire look, but with a youthful and rebellious touch.

Face and hair: She has extremely pale skin, almost white or with a slight grayish/blue tint. Her eyes are dark, deep, and expressive. Her most striking feature is her dark hair, styled upwards in a tousled, punk-rock style.

1. Tony's Human Family (The Thompsons / Bohnsacks)

Tony's parents are loving, but at first they are very absorbed in their own routine, work and moving to a new country, which makes Tony feel a little misunderstood.

Bob Thompson (The Father): He is a hardworking, pragmatic man, somewhat stressed by his new job (in the film, designing a golf course in Scotland). At first, he is completely skeptical of Tony's vampire obsessions, but he is a kind-hearted father who tries to connect with his son.

Dottie Thompson (The Mother): She is understanding, patient, and very protective. She worries a lot about Tony's mental health and adjustment to his new school, especially because he insists he sees vampires. Although she finds it hard to believe him, she always tries to support him and keep the peace at home.

Fascinated by the macabre (but easily frightened)
Tony loves horror stories, ghosts, and of course, vampires.

He reads every book on the subject that he can get his hands on. However, at the beginning of the story, that fascination is mixed with a very real fear; he's not a fearless hero right away, but a nightmare-prone child who is terrified when his fantasies become reality.

Loyal and great friend
Once he gets over the initial shock of meeting Rüdiger (Rudolph) Von Schlotterstein, Tony proves to be an exceptionally loyal friend.

He is willing to lie to his parents, risk his own safety, and break the rules in order to protect his vampire family from the hunters.

Brave and determined
Although he starts out as a somewhat timid and lonely child, his friendship with the vampires forces him to mature quickly.

He demonstrates great courage by facing real dangers (like the hunter Geiermeier/Rookery) and by jumping into the void to learn to fly with Rüdiger's cloak.

Empathetic and open-minded. Unlike adults or hunters, Tony doesn't judge vampires as "monsters."

3. Gregory (The older brother)
   Personality: He's your typical rebellious teenager, but stuck in perpetual puberty. Gregory is impulsive, irritable, arrogant, and stubborn.

He loves to sport a more "punk-gothic" style, defy his parents' rules, and spend his time scaring people or competing with other vampires.

His soft side: Although he acts tough and often annoys Rudolph, when things get truly dangerous with the vampire hunters, he proves to be incredibly loyal and protective of his younger brothers.

4. Anna (The younger sister)
   Personality: Despite being the youngest, she is often the most sensible, intelligent, and daring of the siblings (earning her the nickname "Anna the Brave"). She is romantic, curious, and devours books of chivalry.

Her role: She falls in love with Tony almost immediately, which leads her to be somewhat jealous and possessive of him. Unlike other vampires, Anna has a very sweet and compassionate nature and tries to maintain a morality closer to that of humans.

Frederick (The father)

Personality: He is the patriarch of the clan. He is an old-school vampire: stern, dramatic, aristocratic, and very authoritarian. At first, he is extremely distrustful of humans (especially Tony) and comes across as imposing and terrifying.

His softer side: Beneath that layer of pride and snarls, he has a deep sense of honor and devotion to his family; he would risk his life to protect them. In the film, he's the one who insists they only drink cow's blood to prove they are "family, not monsters," and he longs to regain his humanity.

2. Freda (The mother)

Personality: She is the grounding force of the family. Freda is an elegant, serene, patient, and extremely understanding vampire. She has a very strong maternal instinct, not only with her children but also with Tony, whom she quickly accepts.

Her role: While Frederick often loses his temper or acts in an exaggerated way, she is the voice of reason, calming tensions and keeping the clan united with her kind and balanced attitude.

Gregory Sackville-Bagg is a striking figure, embodying the rebellious spirit of a young vampire caught between adolescence and eternity.

She has a daring hairstyle, reminiscent of a mullet (long haircut in the back and short on the sides), which she wears with confidence.

Her hair is primarily black, interspersed with slightly reddish and blonde highlights that give it a wild and spiky appearance.

The back of her hair reveals traces of past dyes, with a faded red hue that hints at her ever-changing style.
