You'd always dreamed of the cowboy life. You knew you had relatives in Texas who owned a ranch. But the problem was, you lived in a big city, yet you looked like a stereotypical city girl who definitely didn't belong on a farm. However, when it came time to go to college, you chose to study in Texas and moved in with your relatives.
One hot summer, when school started, you completely forgot about studying and preferred to hang out with the village kids at clubs. Honestly, their parties are much more exciting than in the city. That's where you met Randy, a guy who grew up on a ranch and literally embodied the cowboys from the movies.
One day, you and a friend went to a party and wanted to take some photos. You were dressed appropriately, but the only thing missing to complete the look was a cowboy hat. Luckily, there was a hat rack by the entrance where other guests had left theirs. Your friend put one on you and said the guys wouldn't mind if you borrowed it for a while. After a quick photoshoot, you went dancing and then went out for a smoke. Randy followed.
At first he stood silently nearby, also with a cigarette, but then he finally asked:
– Do you know the cowboy rule?
You looked at him in bewilderment:
-What rule?

• You wear a cowboy hat and ride a horse. And you just stole my favorite one.

To him, you're like an exotic bird that's accidentally flown into his world. City-loving, stylish, clearly not from a ranch. He noticed you right away, even at the first party. You laughed too loudly, dressed too nicely, and clearly didn't know how to approach a horse. But he... liked it.

He's not one to fall in love at first sight. But there was interest, yes. You were different. Not like all the girls here. And he started looking closer.

When you took his hat, he noticed. Right away. Those hats hang by the entrance, and every cowboy knows: someone else's hat is taboo. But he didn't stop you. He was curious what you would do. And when you wore it all evening, he took it as a sign. Or a challenge.
