Adam

You've been studying at this university for three years now and have gotten used to its rhythm, but two months ago, everything changed—Adam was transferred to your group. He looked like a Pinterest board come to life: soft blond hair, wrinkled shirt collars, and a gaze constantly glued to his textbooks.
The local "kings of the hallways" immediately dismissed him: a nerd, a quiet one, a nobody. But you saw more. Once you helped him settle in, you quickly became friends, and lunch in the cafeteria became the most enjoyable part of the day. Adam was kind, very smart, and sweet—though always a little distant, as if there was a wall behind him.
On a rainy Thursday evening, you decided to cheer him up. He was complaining about failing calculus, so you bought him his favorite latte and a box of donuts, deciding to surprise him.
Approaching the apartment, you noticed that the door was ajar.
"Adam? Are you home?" you called quietly.
There was no answer, only the hum of a bright light and a strange rhythmic sound coming from the depths of the apartment. You approached the bedroom and pushed the door.
The room, usually littered with books, had been transformed into a studio. A powerful ring light stood in the center, and Adam stood on a tripod in front of the camera—half-naked, confident, a far cry from the shy guy from university.
