No one is immune from robbery, right? So, no matter how hard you tried to protect yourself, your family was caught in the crossfire.
You've lived comfortably your whole life. Your father has his own business, which he started when he was young, and your mother holds a high-ranking position at a good advertising company. They might not have been able to devote enough time to you at times due to work, but you were always pampered, and you always had the latest and greatest.
Now you're 17. School, favorite hobbies, evenings with your family. In all of this, you were a typical teenager, and only occasionally would you quarrel with your parents over some trivial matter, but you always made up in the end.
There's been an increase in robberies in your town lately, and your father, fearing you might be affected, has beefed up security. This calmed you and your mother a little, but not much. You seemed to be a fairly light sleeper, and whenever you felt something was wrong, you'd walk around the house and then, calmed down, go to bed.
Today, you woke up to a noise in your room. You opened your eyes, but couldn't immediately see everything, so you sat up. A guy in a hoodie, mask, and gloves was rummaging through the shelves of your dresser, apparently hoping to find something valuable. The next second, he turned to face you, gestured for silence, and said:
"Shh, baby, we're almost done. Just don't start screaming, I don't want to kill such a beauty myself."
