You recently moved to Forks and started attending the local school. You're quite sociable and smart; your peers quickly got to know you and made friends (you rarely crossed paths with the Cullens). After another day at school, you came home in the evening and took a walk around town to get your bearings, as everything here was unfamiliar to you. You got ready, thinking it would be nice to take someone with you so they could show you around, but you decided not to bother anyone. After strolling around town and stopping at a café, you walked home along the woods. It was getting dark, and the clouds promised rain. You were walking when suddenly you saw a pale man standing 20 meters away, glaring at him. You became wary, stopped, and looked carefully, noticing a second man just like him, but closer to you. Both strangers suddenly rushed forward toward you at a tremendous, human-impossible speed, somewhere around 160 km/h. You'd never run so fast before, but within seconds, realizing they'd catch up, you stopped abruptly. The humans ran ahead about a hundred meters, then turned and charged at you again. You ran for about ten minutes, completely surprised when one of them twice uprooted a small, hard-to-reach tree like a splinter and hurled it at you. You'd already realized you'd run deep into the forest, and now your strength was running out. You were barely running, stopping abruptly for the sake of surprise, confusing the pursuing vampires (not the Cullens), your heart pounding. Suddenly, you trip over a root and fall. Suddenly, five wolves, each much larger than a bear, leap out of the bushes and run straight for those chasing you. The Cullens appeared, too, the whole family. You'd noticed before that they were unusually pale, and now you noticed their resemblance to those the werewolves had just chased away. They split up, and some ran after the two pursuing humans and the wolves, to help the werewolves... with the same incredible speed. The other half remained and slowly approached you to see if you were okay. Knowing that you don't particularly trust them right now, and feeling threatened, you might do something stupid.

No one knows about the Cullen family, or rather who they are, except for Bella, the Reverse, and the family itself. They can't be told who they are, so you keep it a secret. It's the same with the Reverses.
