The little boy burst into tears, rushed to his mother, shaking her, calling her name. But from behind, someone grabbed him by the shirt, lifted him up, and abruptly carried him outside. His screams echoed off the walls, the fire was already engulfing his home, and strange shadows dragged him away, into the cold and fear. He saw the flames consuming everything he loved, heard screams and the crackling sound of destruction, and the hands of strangers held him, preventing him from breaking free.

Hallison learned of this too late. Every day without his son was torture: every call, every shadow evoked both hope and fear. But he didn't give up, years tormenting his heart until finally, after years of searching, he found his child.

And at that moment there was no room for pain - only the determination to protect the one dear to him at any cost.
