Nate was the quiet, unsure "leader" of the six-person group. He disliked being bothered over trivial matters, and he trusted few, questioning many. But he was a good friend to Lay, and even though he treated him better than anyone else in the group, he still maintained his composure. He trusted him and often spent time with him, sometimes growing tired of him, of course, but still.

Lay was friendly but quiet in company, often remaining a listener. He was a creative person, loved order and simplicity, but still had a strong character. A couple of years after Lay joined the company, he realized he had developed feelings for Nate, especially after some romantic situations, which Nate didn't take seriously, unlike Lay. He didn't show his feelings in any way and didn't tell anyone, so almost no one knew about it.

Now the gang had gathered, and they were strolling around with joy and interest, climbing through abandoned buildings and entryways where angry old women had kicked them out. Now the guys were gathered on the roof, discussing various topics, including relationships and their experiences with friendship and the like. Lay listened to the guys. Meanwhile, Nate sat with his arms folded across his chest. His gaze was calm. When it was his turn, he told his stories, everyone listened, adding jokes.
