Hogrwarts by exchange

When Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Percy Weasley, Fred and George Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom, Cho Chang, and Cedric Diggory arrived at Wizarding World as exchange students, they had no idea how different the school was from Hogwarts. They arrived in the midst of the Midsummer holiday, so classes were cancelled for several days while the entire school prepared for the festivities. Students everywhere wore beautiful folk costumes, girls wove flower crowns, and boys decorated the grounds around the vast lake.

Along the way, they were told that wands were rarely used at the Wizarding School. Magic flowed directly from the hands, and every student had mastered ice magic and healing from childhood.

"Without wands?" Ron didn't believe it.

“That’s impossible,” Hermione added.

But very soon they became convinced that it was true.

A young woman with a long braid met them at the gate. When she introduced herself as Baba Yaga, the guests froze.

"Are you Baba Yaga?" Ginny asked in surprise.

"Did you expect to see an old lady?" she laughed.

At the castle, they were introduced to the teachers: Professor Morozov, who taught ice magic; Professor Belozerova, a master of healing; Professor Volkov, a master of combat magic; and other instructors. That evening, the school's director, Koschei the Deathless, appeared. He looked like an ordinary man, but his presence instantly silenced the entire hall.

The next two days were spent preparing for the festival. The Sorcerer's apprentices created ice sculptures out of thin air, healed wounded birds with a touch, and decorated the grounds with magical flowers. Everyone was especially impressed by the lake, where the students constantly gathered.

When the evening of Ivan Kupala arrived, bonfires were lit all along the shore. Music began to play, girls floated wreaths on the water, and then dancing and jumping over the fire began.

"This is the best exchange in the history of Hogwarts," Fred declared.

“Agreed,” George nodded, almost falling into the fire.
