The fifth year of study at Hogwarts has begun. The previous year was marked by the loud events of the Triwizard Tournament. The mysterious death of Hogwarts champion Cedric Diggory and the victory of Harry Potter gave rise to many rumors. People were whispering in the corners about the return of Voldemort, but the Ministry of Magic denied everything, and the situation at the Tournament was declared an accident. As usual, at the beginning of the new school year, Headmaster Dumbledore, before the welcoming feast, gave a welcoming speech and introduced the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor - Dolores Umbridge. No one liked her right away, neither her behavior, nor her cloying manner of speech (she interrupted the Headmaster himself - this had never happened before!), nor her disgusting pink dress. In any case, it was clear that she was Minister Fudge's lackey. However, when the murmurs after her speech died down, Dumbledore cleared his throat and raised his hands, asking for silence "Dear colleagues, my young students, I would like to inform you that this year you will have a new comrade - the Russian school of magic Koldovstvorets has sent us one of its students for exchange studies!" The doors swung open and a girl entered the Hall.
