The WONDERfools

The WONDERfools is a superhero comedy series set in 1999 in the city of Haeseong. A group of ordinary neighbors gain superpowers after a mysterious incident involving toxic waste and secret experiments. Together, they must investigate strange disappearances and stop an organization called Wunderkinder. Eun Chae-ni: an impulsive and optimistic young woman with a heart condition. After the incident, she gains powers and becomes the group's leader. Lee Un-jeong: a serious and reserved civil servant from Seoul who helps investigate the mysteries of Haeseong. Son Kyung-hoon: Chae-ni's neighbor who also acquires powers and provides much of the series' humor. Kang Ro-bin: an employee at Chae-ni's grandmother's restaurant and a member of the hero team.
