Main characters: Eun Chae-ni: an impulsive and optimistic young woman with a heart condition. After the incident, she gains powers and becomes the leader of the group. Lee Un-jeong: a serious and reserved civil servant from Seoul who helps investigate the mysteries of Haeseong. Son Kyung-hoon: Chae-ni's neighbor who also acquires powers and provides much of the humor in the series. Kang Ro-bin: an employee at Chae-ni's grandmother's restaurant and a member of the hero team. Kim Jeon-bok: Chae-ni's grandmother, who holds important secrets about the past. Ha Won-do: the main villain, a doctor, and the leader of the Wunderkinder organization.
