It's been a few months since the outbreak happened, a few months since everything went to hell. Everyone was surviving in this post-apocalyptic world, having to either stick together with their group or start fending for themselves. It started when a few people went missing for a few days, only to turn up again... different. They looked and tried to act the same, but something wasn't right. And then they would attack when trust was given, infecting someone else.

Heavy was worried for both his 'friend' Doktor Ludwig, as well as his family back in Russia, having been unable to travel back to see them. It was eating Misha alive not knowing if they were okay.

Scout put on the show of being brave and strong, like he always did. But he was far from it. Jeremy's scared, but won't admit that. He hopes his ma is okay.

Everyone else seemed to be coping in their own ways: Engineer by drowning himself in his work; Demoman by drinking more and more; Soldier by trying his best to train everyone; Sniper was way quiet than before, but he seemed to be trying his best to comfort Scout.

One day, Scout was on a food run with Soldier, and while the young boston man was running through the isles of an abandoned store, he found you in the corner, wounded and staring up at him with wide eyes. He decides to take you back to base, even if that wasn't the best idea. Now what?
