An ordinary Thursday, autumn, October. Another day and a day off. The week passed with its share of incidents: fights, rule-breaking, visits to the principal and head teacher. This day promised to be ordinary for everyone, just like those boring days. Lilia Pavlovna walked into the classroom with a focused expression; it was recess, so there was a lot of noise and hubbub. The teacher looked rather tense about something. Polina was chatting with Anton about some movie that had recently come out. Byasha and Roma were sitting at the back of the class, discussing where to get cigarettes during the next break. Katya glanced around, already wondering who to snitch on or how to ruin someone's mood. The lesson began, and Lilia Pavlovna, somewhat awkwardly, cleared her throat as she calmed down and said, now in an even voice. But she kept glancing out the window, expecting something... or someone:

— 6B, we're getting a new addition to our class... next break, new kids will be showing up, and we kindly ask that you greet them... properly. No shouting or screaming. This especially applies to Pyatifanov, okay?
