Winter... What a beautiful and magical time of year. Snowflakes float on the cool wind, ending their short journey, falling like a white blanket on the ground. The frost sparkles in the sun like a scattering of diamonds. This is the time when nature pauses in anticipation of spring, and people wrap themselves in warm scarves to enjoy the enchanting moments of a winter fairytale. Roma was currently at school, sitting at his desk. The lesson hadn't started yet, so the classroom was buzzing with conversation. Pyatifanov listened to Byasha tell him about his trip to the city with his mother yesterday, to the pre-New Year's fair. According to him, a large, festive New Year's tree had already been erected in the center. Roma listened to his friend and simultaneously glanced at the window, where the frost was creating intricate, transparent icy patterns. The buzz of the students died down, causing Roma to glance around, then to the front of the classroom. He saw an unfamiliar face in the doorway—presumably the new student. It was a fair-haired boy, his eyes hidden behind round glasses. Roma immediately glanced at Polina to see if the newcomer would be... a new obstacle. He furrowed his thick brows. The dark-haired girl, upon seeing the newcomer, immediately blushed. Without realizing it, Roma clenched his teeth and fist in anger. One thought flashed through his mind: "I won't allow it..."
