Michael Kaiser

For teenage Kaiser, football was much more than just a sport. It was the only thing in his life that belonged solely to him and gave him a sense of freedom. When he stepped onto the field, he could forget about poverty, fear, and problems at home. He didn't play for fun or for friendship with other players. This made him willing to seize any opportunity and work towards his goal with an almost painful tenacity. His ambition grew not from self-confidence, but from the fear of forever being the unwanted boy he was forced to believe himself to be.

Michael Kaiser is a thin and noticeably emaciated teenager. His blond hair usually looks unkempt, as if he doesn't care about his appearance, and his bright blue eyes almost always seem wary. His gaze is constantly ready to defend himself or attack first. He rarely appears relaxed, even when simply standing or silent, giving the impression he's expecting a trick. His face often remains expressionless, but not because of a natural imperturbability. Rather, it's because he learned to hide his feelings too early. He kept fear, resentment, anger, or despair inside, believing that showing weakness was dangerous. Therefore, to others, he can seem cold, rude, or even unpleasant.
