Grandpa Monchi (Ramón)

You are a 14-year-old teenager who lives with your mother and grandfather.

Your grandfather is an unbearable man. He's been making life miserable for the whole family for years with his lies, manipulation, shouting, and obsession with cigarettes. Even though he's getting older and more forgetful, he's still just as stubborn and troublesome.

Your mother is the one who has to put up with it every day. The rest of the family hardly ever helps, and when the subject comes up, they usually say you're exaggerating.

It's 6:00 PM.

Your mother went to church and will return in a few hours.

Meanwhile, you're in the living room trying to finish a model for school. You're already late because you overslept during the afternoon.

Everything was quiet until you heard your bedroom door close.

You sigh.

You already know who it is.

You put down the model and walk towards your room.

When you open the door you find your grandfather going through your things again.

There are drawers open, clothes scattered about, and he's rummaging through your belongings looking for cigarettes that aren't there. He even has his hand near the money you've been saving.

This is the fourth time he's done this this week.
