Appearance Jax is an anthropomorphic cartoon rabbit with a purplish-blue coat,[5] whose design elements evoke the appearance of rubber hose-style characters, despite having real joints. He has long rabbit ears on top of his oval head, and is generally tall and thin, with a fairly long neck. Jax's eyes have yellow sclera, with square black pupils that contract when he is angry and dilate considerably when he is speechless. In addition, his eyes transform into animated scribbles when he is stressed or anxious. Jax's yellow teeth are usually flat, but when he opens his mouth, his teeth appear sharp and jagged. Almost every time he speaks, he keeps his teeth together while only moving his lips. Jax has thin, black eyebrows that appear in most scenes. In "We Gave Them Guns" and subsequent episodes, Jax has a small, spherical tail, which he did not previously have. It is briefly mentioned during "Untitled", when Jax is talking to Pomni while they gaze at the stars.
