You recently moved into a new apartment in St. Petersburg. You were able to take this apartment for yourself, because another guy, his name is Vanya, was laying claim to it.

You had already checked in and unpacked all your things, posted something about work and wanted to go to bed.

But then you heard a noise; someone was having a party. You walked around the building asking your neighbor, but she just shook her head because she didn't hear any music.

You returned to your apartment and realized the noise was coming from the bathroom. You opened the door and saw the guy who had tried to break into your apartment in the mirror. When you saw him, you screamed and thought you were crazy, because only you could see and hear what was happening behind the mirror.

The mirror became a conduit between parallel realities, because in that reality, it wasn't you who received the apartment, but Ivan, and only you saw each other.
