Order of the Phoenix

Appearance: Severus Snape is a man who was not endowed by nature with a pleasant appearance. He is skinny, with pale, earthy skin and long, greasy black hair that always falls over his face. His main features are a large hooked nose and cold, black eyes, behind which a whole life is hidden. The clothes are exclusively black: a long robe, tightly buttoned up to the throat, creates the image of a bat. He moves silently and swiftly, which makes students shudder at his sudden appearance.

Personality: Snape is one of the most complex characters in the saga. On the surface, he is a bilious, caustic and unfair teacher who openly hates Harry (for his resemblance to James), mocks Neville and deducts points from Gryffindor for no reason. His sarcasm borders on sadism, and his cold calm is more frightening than screaming. He is pathologically secretive, vindictive and vindictive (suffice it to recall his textbook on potions with curses on enemies).

However, behind this façade hides a man who has performed the greatest feat of love and betrayal. His true character is that of a double agent who has been leading Voldemort himself by the nose for years. Snape knows how to love so deeply and hopelessly (Lily) that this love becomes the meaning of his existence after her death. He is brave (perhaps braver than all the "heroes") because he risks his life every minute to play his part. But he is also petty and unable to forgive the offenses of his school years, which is shown in his attitude towards Harry.

Key paradox: Snape is a man who saved lives while remaining a mean teacher; who had defended Harry for years, hating him through his mother's eyes; and who killed Dumbledore, keeping his plan alive. His character is the tragedy of a genius crushed by the cruelty of the world and his own pride, but who found redemption not in forgiveness, but in loyalty to a single bright memory.

Ground Fletcher is a classic "criminal element" of the wizarding world, which can hardly be called a hero, but without him, the Order of the Phoenix would hardly have survived.

Appearance: A stocky, short man with eternally oily hair (the color of dirty straw) and a pimply face that seems to be somehow... slippery. He is usually dressed in a tattered robe with a suspiciously large number of deep pockets. It constantly smells of cheap ale and dampness. A distinctive detail is nervous, running eyes that never look into the eyes of the interlocutor for more than a second.

Personality: The Groundman is a cowardly and deceitful smuggler, a master of "getting everything that doesn't lie well". His motto is: "I don't take risks if they don't pay for it." He is always complaining about life, cheating at cards, and will be the first to betray an ally if he puts a wand to his throat. However, oddly enough, the Order of the Phoenix tolerates him. Why? Because Fletcher has three invaluable talents: he knows how to disappear at the very last moment (no one knows how to cast the Invisibility Cloak so deftly, even if it removes spells), he has connections throughout the black market, and, most importantly, he does not betray the Order. Not from bravery, but from intuition: he understands that working with Death Eaters means working for clients who kill debtors. Therefore, Fletcher continues to be a "useful scoundrel": he supplies Sirius with provisions, leads the chase away from Harry, and only he manages to hide several families after the fall of the Ministry. In short, the Lander is proof that even in the war against Evil, sometimes you need people who have no honor, but have an instinct for survival.

Hermione Granger is the "gray cardinal" of Harry's team, whose sharp mind and unbending will compensate for the lack of flexibility.

Appearance: In the early books, a girl with thick brown hair that she pulls into a ponytail and noticeable front teeth (after the attack of the Devourers in the book, the teeth shrink and she becomes "normal"). She has a broad forehead and a stern, searching look in her light brown eyes. Hermione rarely dresses in fashion: the uniform is always flawless, without a single crease, and the robes are without magic, just neatly buttoned. Over the years, especially after a hike for horcruxes, her features become sharper, and constant fatigue appears under the eyes.

Personality: Hermione is the embodiment of "correctness", which turns out to be rebellious. She follows the rules as long as they seem reasonable to her, but easily breaks them for the sake of the cause (Put Gringot to sleep? Okay. Impersonate Bellatrix? Easy). Her main value is knowledge, but not for its own sake, but for the protection of the weak. Because of this, she can be unbearably didactic, tactless and panicked by mistakes (hence the eternal raised hands in class). However, behind the "know-it-all" hides a tragic loneliness: in the Muggle world, she was a black sheep because of her intelligence, in the magical world - because of the "mudblood". That is why Hermione is so desperate to prove her worth and so fiercely fights for the rights of the house-elves (no one but her notices their oppressed situation). Her superpower lies in her incredible moral stability: she is the only one of the trio who has never succumbed to the influence of the Horcrux and has not gone into despair. She is the brain, conscience and "paranoid planner" of the team, without whom Harry and Ron would have died in their first year.

Harry Potter is the main character of the saga, whose appearance and character are inextricably linked with the tragic past and the burden of chosenness.

Appearance: A thin, short teenager for his age with eternally matted black hair and pale skin. His most striking features are his eyes: bright green, cut and shaped like his mother Lily's, and a thin lightning bolt scar on his forehead. Due to his life with the Dursleys, he is shorter and smaller than his peers, wears oversized round-rimmed glasses (permanently taped over), and has a habit of frowning, which makes his gaze almost always serious. Over time, he becomes a copy of his father, James, but with motherly eyes.

Character: Harry is a man of action, not reflection. He is impulsive, hot-headed, and often throws himself into a fight when he needs to stop (the dialogue with Snape about "sticking your stick away" is an example of this). He sincerely hates lies, hypocrisy and any superiority over the weak, which he has in common with Sirius. However, unlike his father's friend, Harry is not looking for conflict - he simply cannot ignore injustice, even when it is stupid. He has phenomenal stamina and the ability to keep a "pure heart" under pressure: he is not seduced by power (not even the invisibility cloak and the Goblet of Fire), and he feels that such a path leads to Voldemort's loneliness. At the same time, Harry does not shine with intelligence or magic (unlike Hermione or Dumbledore), but his superpower is in the ability to choose love and self-sacrifice where others choose logic or fear. This is what makes him not just a "boy who lived", but a man who was able to defeat death.

Ron Weasley is a loyal friend and red-haired "stumbling block" in Harry's team, whose appearance screams his origins, and his character struggles between eternal uncertainty and rare outbursts of heroism.

Appearance: Classic Weasley: tall, skinny and angular, with a shock of bright red hair and a face covered in freckles. A long nose, blue eyes and a large number of moles. His ears are a little too big for his head, and his arms and legs seem too long for his body—he moves with the awkwardness of a teenager unaccustomed to his height. In the fifth year, mustaches and pimples appear, which he painfully tries to hide. His invariable heavy gait and habit of blushing to the roots of his hair are striking.

Personality: Ron is an emotional person. He's explosive, jealous, touchy ("Harry has everything!") And he can say nasty things in a fit of anger to immediately regret it. However, when the critical moment comes, Ron overcomes himself: he goes to the Forbidden Forest with spiders, sacrifices himself on the chessboard, and in Deathly Hallows, returns to save Harry and destroy the Horcrux. He has a great sense of humor (the most human in the trio) and extraordinary loyalty, which he proves not with beautiful words, but by the fact that he always comes back. Ron is a normal person in the world of heroes, and his victory is precisely that he remains himself, despite all the complexes.

Ginny Weasley is the only daughter and youngest child in the Weasley family, who goes from a shy fan to one of the strongest and most independent witches of her generation.

Appearance: Classic Weasley appearance: bright red hair (long, waist-length), freckles on the face, and bright blue eyes. She is short, slender and lithe, with a sharp chin and quick, precise movements – the perfect physique for a Quidditch hunter. Over time, her features lose their childlike softness and become sharper, which, combined with her firm gaze, makes her look like her mother in her youth.

Personality: Ginny is a fusion of motherly determination and a brotherly sense of humor. She can be sarcastic (her famous "Hello, Crybaby Myrtle!"), kind, and fearless to the point of recklessness. Unlike girls like Hermione, she does not demonstrate intelligence for show, but she has excellent reaction and combat ingenuity. At school, she is the life of the party, popular and charming, who knows how to put any impudent person in his place. Her main weapon is not spells, but an unbending will: after Tom Riddle took possession of her soul in her first year, she only became stronger. Ginny does not tolerate patronage (especially from her brothers or Harry when he tries to "protect" her). That is why she becomes the perfect match for Harry - she is the only one who does not tremble at his fate as the Chosen One, but simply fights next to him. In the Battle of Hogwarts, Ginny fights on a par with experienced fighters, proving that being a "Weasley girl" means being sharper than any dagger.

Fred and George Weasley are legendary pranksters and inventors whose looks are almost indistinguishable, but whose personalities have subtle differences.

Appearance: Both are exact replicas: tall, wiry, with classic Weasley red hair and freckled faces. Each has a short, slightly upturned nose and eyes that are always burning with mischief. Only a little thing distinguishes them: George has an intact ear (before the incident with Lupin), and Fred has a slightly more mischievous smile. Their main common quality is bravery, disguised as foolishness. They were the ones who launched the swamp in the hallway of Hogwarts in protest against the dictatorship, and they were the last to laugh in the face of the Devourers.

Arthur Weasley is the head of the Weasley family, who combines the absent-mindedness of an enthusiast with the courage of a real Muggle rights fighter.

Appearance: Tall and thin, with sparse red hair and a balding crown. A long, kind face with lots of freckles that only Ron could borrow, and wrinkled with eternal smiles. Nos wears glasses with thin wire frames (always taped shut). Arthur dresses terribly: the robe is always turned inside out, the shoelaces are not tied, and there are traces of fireplace soot on the pockets.

Character: Incorrigible romantic and technoman. He can spend hours enthusiastically asking Harry about the meaning of the "cork" or enthusiastically dismantling a Muggle toaster, which endlessly annoys his wife Molly. At the Ministry's Office for the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts, he is considered an eccentric for his collection of broken batteries and his passion for enchanting household items (Flying Ford England). However, behind this eccentricity lies an iron principle: he sincerely believes in the equality of wizards and Muggles and quietly but persistently pushes through laws against discrimination. When it comes down to it, Arthur is instantly no longer a good eccentric: he is willing to risk his life in the Order of the Phoenix, and after the Devourers attack his son Ron, Arthur is the first to rush into battle with cold fury. His real strength is in the firmness of a gentle person. It is Arthur who explains to Harry that "spitting on pedigree" is not fashion, but honor.

Molly Weasley is the heart of the Weasley family and the embodiment of a mother's love that is equally warm and dangerous to enemies.

Appearance: A short, very plump and soft woman with red (already gray) hair and a kind round face. He usually wears simple house robes with patches, over which a faded apron is tied. Her hands are always in flour or soap suds, and a stick is often tucked behind her ear. The main thing in her appearance is her eyes: usually warm and brown, but in anger they flash so that even adult mages look away.

Personality: Molly is incredibly caring, troublesome and has total control over the lives of her children (their clock does not show the time, but "at work", "in danger" or "in bed"). She speaks loudly, gestures with kitchen utensils and sincerely believes that any problem can be solved with a hearty dinner or a freshly knitted sweater. At the same time, she is not naïve at all: in the Order of the Phoenix, she does not fight on the front lines (Dumbledore protects her), but in the Battle of Hogwarts, it is Molly who kills Bellatrix Lestrange, shouting: "Don't touch my daughter, you filthy creature!". This is the moment that reveals her true character: under the soft mother of the family, a lioness is hiding, ready to do anything to protect her loved ones. The only ones she doesn't forgive are those who threaten her children. That is why Molly's chill towards Hermione at first (due to the articles in the Daily Prophet) and absolute dislike for Fleur Delacour is quickly replaced by acceptance as soon as the girls prove their loyalty to the family. In a world full of dark wizards, Molly's main weapon is her boundless, almost suffocating love.

Kingsley Breastwork is one of the most talented Aurors of the Ministry of Magic, the embodiment of composure and professionalism.

Appearance: Kingsley is a very tall, massive black wizard with a powerful build. He has a broad chest and large, strong arms. A clean-shaven head and earring in his ear give him a look that is both rugged and elegant. He wears a long dark robe, under which chain mail is often hidden, as well as exquisite fabrics - his appearance always inspires respect. Kingsley's voice is low, slow and weighty, forcing others to listen involuntarily.

Character: He personifies the "silent force". Unlike the eccentric Moody or the emotional Tonks, Kingsley is absolutely unflappable and determined. He acts without unnecessary words and gestures: he can imperceptibly modify the memory of a witness or give an order during a battle in a gentle but non-objectionable tone. Kingsley is always one step ahead: working in the Ministry under the noses of the Devourers, he remains inconspicuous, but at the same time passes on valuable information to the Order of the Phoenix. He is devoted to the light side not because of pathos, but out of a sense of deep duty. Kingsley is not a hero alone, but it is he who is relied on at a critical moment - and he never fails. After the war ends, it is Kingsley who becomes the Minister of Magic, and this is logical: of all the Aurors, he is the best at combining strength with wisdom and political caution.

Alastor Moody ("Terrible Eye") is a legendary Auror whose appearance is a military map of wounds, and whose personality is the embodiment of paranoid vigilance.

Appearance: Moody is a massive, stocky man with a square chin and gray, matted hair. His face is a solid scar: a split nose, scars on his cheeks and forehead, and a piece of his nose is missing. The most notable detail is the magic prosthetic eye (bright blue, rotating in different directions and seeing through walls, an invisibility cloak and even the back of the head). Instead of a leg, there is a wooden prosthesis with a metal tip. He always walks with a heavy cane-weapon and falls on his sick leg.

Personality: Quintessential Battlemage: Rough, harsh, intolerant of weakness. After years of catching dark wizards, he developed a manic "Constant Vigilance" complex. He drinks only from his own flask, checks rooms for dark artifacts, and suspects everyone of conspiracy. However, behind this paranoia is not cowardice, but cruel experience: he trusts only actions, not words. He treats students harshly, but fairly - and sincerely wants them to survive in a real battle. Surprisingly, under the armor of the cynical fighter, honesty to the marrow of his bones is hidden: Moody has never used Unforgivable Spells on criminals (although he could), and remains on the side of the light to the end. His tragedy is that his paranoia was justified - it was because of it that he outlived everyone, but in the end he was killed by Voldemort personally, when his vigilance failed for a moment.

Nymphadora Tonks is a young Auror and metamorph whose appearance and personality defy any boredom and predictability.

Appearance: Tonks usually looks informal and eccentric. In her youth, she prefers short hair of bright colors (shocking pink is her calling card) and comfortable, often rocker clothes without a drop of magical aristocracy. Being a metamorph, she changes her facial features according to her mood: she can make herself a pig snout or lengthen her nose, like a beak. In her normal state, she has a pale heart-shaped face, large features and lively facial expressions. However, after marriage and especially tragic events, her metamorphism "flounders" - her hair fades to dirty blonde, and her face becomes sunken and joyless.

Personality: Clumsy, cheerful and straight as a stick. Tonks hates her name "Nymphadora" (requires to be called simply Tonks) and any attempt to make her a lady. She always drops everything, stumbles out of the blue and snaps back with her superiors, but at the same time she remains a brilliant aurora. Her sense of humor is black and loud, she can't stand snobs and mourning ceremonies. However, behind the mask of the eternal clown, there is an amazing loyalty: Tonks is ready to do anything for the sake of her loved ones. It is this fierce, almost reckless love that makes her more serious over the years, and her hopeless, long attachment to Remus Lupin (much older, poorer, and "dangerous") shows that beneath the chaos of the outside, she has an incredibly patient and deep heart.

Remus Lupin is a man whose appearance and character are shaped by a combination of gentle intelligence and the heavy curse of lycanthropy.

Appearance: Unlike the harsh Sirius, Lupin appears haggard and sickly pale. He has early gray in his brown hair and persistent dark circles under his eyes, making him older than his years. Clothes are always poor, patched, but neat. The main details are deep wrinkles around the mouth (from the habit of smiling a lot and sadly) and many small scars on the face and hands left after transformations. At the full moon, when the disease takes over, he turns into a thin, wolf-like monster, but there is nothing predatory about him in human form, but rather the appearance of a tired librarian or teacher. Personality: Patient, tactful and incredibly humble. Remus is the voice of reason in the company of the Marauders, smoothing over conflicts between James and Severus and trying to curb Sirius's recklessness. The curse taught him to be ashamed of himself and afraid of close relationships, so he used to keep his distance and seem "good but boring." However, this is not cowardice: in battle, he is resolute and cold-blooded. His main pain is the impostor complex: he considers himself a dangerous monster for others, unworthy of love. Under the external softness there is a steel will and a deep, slightly bitter wisdom of a person who learned to be kind when life was cruel to him.

Appearance: Tall, slender, with sharp, almost sharp facial features inherited from the ancient Black family. His main weapon is piercing gray eyes, which are reputedly both icy and full of warmth. After escaping from Azkaban, he looks emaciated: his face looks like a skull, his skin is tight on his bones, and his long, matted black hair and beard are gray. But in his best years (the period of the Marauders) he was a real handsome man with a haughty but attractive smile, somewhat similar to a young rock musician. Personality: Impulsive, proud and recklessly brave. Sirius hates lies and hypocrisy, especially those related to the "pure-blooded" magical nobility that he rejected. He is devoted to his friends to the point of self-sacrifice - his best friend James Potter was his brother. However, there is a downside to this coin: he is cruel to those he considers enemies (suffice it to recall his jokes with Severus Snape), and his long years in Azkaban have only strengthened his penchant for dark sarcasm and outbursts of anger. Under the rough shell and self-destructive sense of guilt, there is a deeply vulnerable person who has not been able to forgive himself for the death of his friends.
