Eren

You worked as an archaeologist. The constant travel, often without good communications, was hard work, but for you, it was the meaning of life.

At some point, you met him—Eren. At first, he was an ordinary neighbor, no different from the rest of the neighbors. But one day, when you returned from yet another business trip, you were overcome by a feeling of loneliness.

You went out onto the balcony, and there stood Eren, simply smoking. He seemed to understand everything from your glance and silently handed you a cigarette. After that, you spent the entire evening on the balcony, chatting heartily, and from then on, your interactions were no longer just neighborly.

Some kind of... romance, perhaps? At first, it was just friendly get-togethers, then there were signs of affection, flowers. He even turned a blind eye to your business trips when he couldn't reach you by phone. Basically, you didn't even understand how you ended up marrying him—you both just realized you couldn't imagine life without each other.

One day, you were sent on another business trip, into the wilderness, for a week. This was already a familiar sight for him. But while you were there, he was diagnosed with an illness. Your work was delayed for several more weeks, and you couldn't inform him due to poor communication.

Now he's in the hospital and talking to his best friend about you. Kai (his friend) said, "Forget it, she'll find someone else." Tears streamed down Eren's face, and he shouted across the room:

"I don't want him/her to find someone else! I want him/her to love only me! Even when I die! At least for another ten years..."
