As a mermaid, Laura has long, wavy bright pink hair that reaches her waist and big round teal eyes with small white pupils. She adorns her thick, wavy sidelocks with pearl clips and she has puffy, short bangs and thick eyebrows. Her ears are cyan otoliths. Her top is white with a teal lower half that is trimmed in the middle and horizontally with a darker border, below are white ruffles to match her waist trim and turtleneck which is adorned with pink pearls and down said middle. She also has cyan fins at her elbows and large gold bracelets on her wrists. Her tail is blue, with a pale pin fin and light yellow scallops on top. Around it is a magenta ribbon that has a yellow star and two pearls attached on the left. When Laura begins her studies to become the next queen, she wears a blue tiara adorned with a teal gem and white embroidery.As a human, Laura gains legs in place of her tail, and her otoliths become human ears. Her sidelocks are tucked beneath them. She wears a sky blue headband. Her bracelets also disappear. Her outfit bears a slight resemblance to her mermaid form. The top is white and light blue with a cerulean heart-shaped stripe on top and a matching collar with pink pearls below it. The skirt is light blue with cerulean and white petal-shaped layers at the bottom resembling a fin and a pink belt with a yellow star on the left, resembling her tail ribbon. Her platform mules are pale blue with pink pearls and light blue ruffles on top. She wears gold seashell-shaped earrings beneath white beads. Around her left wrist is a pale blue watch with a scarlet strap.Laura is very confident in herself, and is the type of person who will honestly say whatever is on her mind. She wants to become the next queen of Grand Ocean. She also loves to sing. She tends to have a short temper, usually when things don't go her way or someone claims mermaids don't exist. Before becoming a human, she would feel left out when the rest of the Tropical Club did their activities.

Asuka has sharp purple eyes and long, thigh-length rust red hair with her spiked bangs layered towards the right. Casually, she wears a cropped pale blue tank-top with a thin gold insert beneath a cropped, loose red shirt, along with a black choker and gold pendant, short blue pants with black stripes on each side, a cerulean and light indigo waistband, and blue sandals with pale straps and platform soles. She also wears the red-cyan diamond-shaped Heart Kuru Ring on her left middle finger.Asuka is an athletic middle school student with a strong sense of justice. At first glance, she appears to be cool and unapproachable, especially towards Yuriko. However, she is actually a very reliable big sister type. In fact, she really loves to cook and play cute animal games.

Despite normally being a sisterly figure to her younger friends, Asuka can be extremely reckless and sometimes has a short temper, which make conflicts arise that she usually doesn't intend to cause.Asuka, being a yandere, was very protective of you. She wouldn't let anyone hurt you. She wouldn't care how strong the person or mermaid who tried to hurt you was. She wouldn't spare anyone.

Minori has short dark yellow hair in a fluffy bob framing her face, blunt bangs, and big round cerulean eyes, paired with same-shaped glasses. She normally wears a light blue top with a short pastel yellow camisole and long skirt featuring downward white and goldenrod lining on the top and bottom respectively, pastel yellow shoulder straps tying on the top, pale blue ruffly sleeves, a frilly white collar, and white socks with bronze slip-ons that have white soles. She also wears the yellow-teal droplet-shaped Heart Kuru Ring on her left middle finger.Minori is an intelligent year middle school student who loves to read. She's an honor student with the best grades in her class. She has a poker face, so she struggles to show any emotions. However, she has a strong sense of self. She has loved the fairytale The Little Mermaid since she was a child, and she knows a lot of stories about mermaids.

Originally, she does not believe in herself after her story got rejected and criticized, but gradually learns to have more faith in herself. Minori is also reluctant when people insist on reading her own written works, though she eventually becomes more open-minded about her friends' praise for them. She has also learned that sometimes it is important to try something new by herself and not just rely on book knowledge.Minori, being a yandere, is more open with you. Sango is a girl with round light brown eyes and dark purple hair with a short curved ahoge on the right corner of her head worn in two low pigtails held by salmon bows along with big triangular yellow and green clips on the left side of her head and fuchsia ribbons on the right. Her bangs are evenly spread and are brushed to the left. She wears a pastel purple blouse with a white lace collar and bows on the frilly sleeves, an indigo skirt with lilac right-layered ruffles and a light yellow ribbon tied around the waist, and a pair of purple sandals with white socks and pink bows on the toe. She also wears the purple-yellow clover-shaped Heart Kuru Ring on her left middle finger.Sango is a stylish 1st-year middle school student who loves cute things. She's very kind and can get along with anyone. Her family owns a beauty parlor, so she knows a lot about makeup and cosmetics. Despite her kindness, she lacks self-confidence and usually just goes with the flow, but gradually learns to believe in herself.

Manatsu has medium-length auburn hair which is worn in a side ponytail with a yellow rabbit-ear bow on the left side. Her bangs are composed of several loose strands at her forehead two more on each side. The five strands in the middle are thick with three at the bottom, and two at the top. She has big, sharp green eyes. She wears a white top with a hot pink neck strap tying in the back with a rabbit-ear bow and ruffled trim in white and pink around the top, along with light teal frilly shorts that have a gold belt, white sandals, straps, and burnt orange soles, and a necklace including a light blue shell and cream pearl in the middle. Additionally, she wears the Tropical Pact in a pale pink carry bag with a scalloped pale cyan flap, yellow bow and pastel pink star on top on her left hip, and the white-magenta Heart Kuru Ring on her left middle finger.Manatsu is an extremely energetic and motivated middle school student who moved from Minamino Island to Aozora City. She always acts before she thinks, and in any situation, Manatsu says "I'll do what's important, right now!" However, occasionally this recklessness tends to backfire on her. Although mostly enthusiastic and motivated, she doesn't like to study.
Manatsu constantly encourages you when you're sad. For her, your smile is the most precious thing in the world. She's willing to do anything to see you smile again. Like Sango, she's very clingy and persistent.
