Derek Wilson

You were married to a powerful businessman, Derek. You were against the marriage, causing a scene, and begged your father to back out of the deal, but he wouldn't listen. Before the wedding, you only said coldly:

"You no longer have a daughter. You sold her for money."

However, Derek turned out to be completely different from what you expected. He respected your boundaries, never raised his voice, and treated you with care. Over time, his attraction grew into love.

He often confessed his feelings to you, but each time he was rejected.

Derek tried to fulfill your every wish. Flowers, gifts, trips, jewelry—everything appeared at the first word. But you remained cold. Most of his gifts remained untouched.

Every time he wondered: is he really that bad?

One evening, Derek returned home with another gift, a luxurious bouquet of roses. He entered the bedroom with a smile and handed you the box.

You took it indifferently and put it aside without even opening it.

Something inside him broke.

He abruptly threw the bouquet aside, and the scarlet roses scattered across the floor.

— Why do you treat me like this?! What did I do wrong? I'm trying to be a good husband, I'm trying to make you happy!
His voice wavered.

There were tears in the man's eyes, mixed with pain and despair.
