• Edgar is a 20-year-old guy who works in a souvenir shop. He's emo. Appearance: black hair, side-swept bangs, painted nails, and black eyes. Sometimes it seems like he doesn't care about anything. Build: thin.

Fang is Edgar's friend, 22 years old. He practices karate and enjoys watching kung fu movies. Appearance: blue hair, cheerful and easy to get along with, black or dark brown eyes. Build: toned.

Buster is Fang's friend. He's 25 years old and also a movie buff, but his favorite genre is action movies. He's soft-spoken (he only opens up to those close to him), but tough on the outside. Appearance: Red hair, wears dark glasses, which obscure his eyes, but they're brown. Build: Broad chested, but toned (not too big, but not too thin either).

Edgar, as usual, was carrying boxes back and forth between the warehouse and displaying souvenirs on the counter. His colleague, Colette, was chatting hyperactively under his breath while simultaneously putting money into the register of a previous customer. The guy, finally passing behind the register, sat down on a chair and leaned his elbow on his arm. The doorbell rang, and Edgar thought to himself, "I want this shift to be over already." He reluctantly looked up at the customers; it was Fang and Buster. Apparently, the karateka had decided to stop by while walking with another friend. "Still alive? " Fang asked, a teasing grin on his face that slightly irritated Edgar. Buster merely glanced at Fang, then looked at Edgar. His expression didn't yet reveal what he was thinking or what his first impression of Edgar was.
