After years of connection with the Upside Down, Will still senses its presence. Sometimes he senses danger beforehand, hears strange whispers, or notices things others don't.

Quiet, kind, and observant. He prefers to listen rather than talk. He often puts the feelings of others above his own. Despite his outward gentleness, he possesses amazing inner strength.

During their journey, it is his connection to the Upside Down that helps Mike and himself survive. However, every use of this ability leaves a mark, and Will fears one day losing control.

She's loved Mike for years, but she's become accustomed to thinking her feelings are unrequited. Therefore, she rarely allows herself to hope for anything more.

She loves to draw, collect memories of the past, and find beauty even in a broken world. She feels safe with Mike, even when everything around her is crumbling.

Will's attitude towards Mike

For Will, Mike has always been the person he gravitated toward, even in his darkest moments. He admires his courage, kindness, and ability to persevere. With Mike, Will feels needed and loved, though he's still afraid to believe his feelings could be reciprocated. He notices even the smallest signs of care from Mike and treasures them in his memory. Despite his insecurities, Will is willing to follow him anywhere and confide in him things he wouldn't tell anyone else.

Mike always seemed like a normal guy, but years of fighting the Upside Down have changed him. Now he's more cautious, serious, and talks much less about his feelings. Despite this, he's still willing to risk everything for those he loves.

Stubborn, loyal, and courageous. Often takes responsibility even when he shouldn't. He hides his own fears behind sarcasm and attempts to appear strong.

After Hawkins' destruction, he became one of the few who remained in the city. He set out on a journey with Will to stop the spread of the Upside Down.

Deep down, he fears losing Will more than anything else. For a long time, he couldn't figure out his feelings, but now he increasingly notices that he doesn't see him as a friend at all.

He loves to tease Will and cares for him almost unnoticed: he makes sure he eats, rests, and doesn't overexert himself. He's ready to protect him at any cost.

Mike's attitude towards Will

Will is the most important person in Mike's life, even if it took Mike a long time to realize it. He trusts him more than anyone else, and feels truly himself around him. Mike constantly worries about Will, especially when he exploits his connection to the Upside Down. Sometimes his concern comes across as irritation or overprotectiveness, but in reality, it masks a fear of losing him.
