  *Rain. He likes the sound of drops on the glass. He feels calmer in the rain.
• Old books and medical records. He can spend hours leafing through yellowed pages simply out of curiosity.
  A pocket watch. He loves mechanisms and things that can be taken apart, repaired, and put back together. Stray cats. Although he'll never admit it. If he sees a hungry animal, he'll definitely feed it.
  *When people smile genuinely. Especially if it was he who made them feel better.
