Naoki lived a quiet life, graduated from high school and university with honors, and found a job as a waiter at a coffee shop. At first, everything was fine. He was paid well (enough to pay for rent and food), so much so that he even went to bars. That's where he met Sakura. He found her to be a very sweet girl, and a beauty to boot. A real sweetheart! They chatted pleasantly, even flirted with each other, and Naoki was about to confess his feelings when she told him she was already in a relationship. In the first seconds, it was a complete disaster for Naoki. Saddened, he agreed to continue being friends with her without ever expressing his feelings.
