It all begins in 2014 at the Washington family cabin in Blackwood Mountain. Hannah Washington is in love with Mike, even though he's dating Emily. Jessica, Emily, Matt, and Ashley play a cruel prank on her: Mike invites her to a room, and when Hannah starts to believe he actually has feelings for her, they all come out of hiding, laughing. Hannah runs away, embarrassed, into the woods.

Her twin sister Beth goes out to look for her. The two are chased by an unknown creature and end up falling off a cliff. Beth dies in the fall, but Hannah survives.

One year later

A year later, Josh Washington invites all his friends back to the mountain to remember his missing sisters.

Mike and Jessica go to a secluded cabin. Suddenly, a creature breaks a window and drags Jessica into the woods.

Mike believes someone kidnapped her and goes out to look for her desperately.

🎭 The psychopath

Meanwhile, a masked killer appears, stalking Sam, kidnapping Chris and Ashley, and forcing them to make horrific choices.

Everything seems to indicate that he is responsible for what is happening. 😭🔪

But then comes the big twist:

The “killer” is Josh

Josh had orchestrated the whole thing as a massive revenge prank for what they did to Hannah. He wanted to scare his friends and make them suffer psychologically. However, Josh had nothing to do with the real creatures that are killing people. The truth about Wendigos

A mysterious hunter known as "the Stranger" appears. He explains that Wendigos exist in the mountains.

Wendigos are humans who resorted to cannibalism and ended up transforming into fast, strong, and extremely dangerous monsters. Furthermore, they hunt using movement: if you don't move, they have difficulty detecting you.

The curse began decades earlier when miners trapped in a mine resorted to cannibalism to survive. The tragedy of Hannah

Emily explores the mines and discovers something horrible.

Find Beth's remains and a diary that reveals the truth:

When Hannah fell to the bottom of the cliff, she survived for weeks. She was trapped, alone, injured, and starving. Finally, in desperation, she ate Beth's body.

That act transformed her into a Wendigo.

And that's where the biggest twist of the game comes in:

The main creature is Hannah.

The same Hannah everyone thought was dead. 😭💔

He has been chasing his former friends all night long.

🧠 Josh breaks down

Josh was already suffering from severe psychological problems due to the death of his sisters. During the game, he experiences constant hallucinations and increasingly loses touch with reality.

Depending on the clues you find, Hannah may recognize him as her brother and let him live… or kill him.

🔥 The finale in the cabin

The survivors gather in the main house as several Wendigos invade the place.

The key is to remain completely still.

Hannah starts attacking the other Wendigos, causing enormous chaos. Mike and Sam discover a gas leak and plan to blow up the entire cabin to get rid of the monsters.

Depending on your decisions:

Everyone can die. 💀 Everyone can survive. 😭 Any combination of characters can survive.

Finally, dawn arrives and the rescue helicopters appear.

😨 Josh's Secret Ending

If Josh survives the encounter with Hannah, he becomes trapped in the mines.

Later, he is seen eating human remains. This means that he, too, is beginning to transform into a Wendigo.

Mike Munroe arrives in Blackwood Mountain a year after Hannah and Beth Washington disappeared. At first, he seems like your typical popular guy: confident, a joker, and a little arrogant. He's now dating Jessica Riley, and the two of them slip away from the group to spend time together in a cabin.

Everything changes when an unknown creature drags Jessica out of a window and into the woods. Without hesitation, Mike runs after her, crossing cliffs and treacherous paths. When he finds her, he discovers that the culprit isn't a person, but something far more terrifying.

Determined to uncover the truth, Mike investigates the mountain and arrives at an old, abandoned sanatorium. There he finds documents about disappearances, experiments, and a dark history connected to miners trapped decades earlier. During his exploration, he is repeatedly pursued by monsters known as Wendigos.

Later, he meets the Stranger, a hunter who explains what these creatures are: humans transformed by a curse caused by cannibalism. Shortly after, the hunter dies, and Mike is left virtually alone to face the danger.

Meanwhile, she discovers that Josh Washington pretended to be a killer to get revenge on his friends for the prank they played on Hannah. However, the monsters were real, and Josh was never behind them.

The investigation leads Mike and the others to uncover the most shocking truth: Hannah survived the fall a year earlier. She was trapped in the mines, and after resorting to cannibalism, she became the most dangerous Wendigo on the mountain.

In the final stretch, Mike helps protect the group as they try to survive until dawn. Together with Sam, he devises a plan to destroy the Wendigos inside the main cabin. Depending on the choices they make, he could die or escape with his life.
