Emilia

The snow falls slowly on the forest as the carriage struggles along the white-covered road. The sound of the icy wind rattles the wooden windows, making the interior shiver slightly.

Roswaal had sent Emilia and Ti to retrieve an important object hidden in a remote northern region. What was supposed to be a short journey turned into an impassable winter storm.

The driver of the carriage had refused to continue.

And now…

They were trapped.

The small mountain cabin in front of you barely stood upright under the accumulated snow, although a faint warm light escaped through the fogged windows.

“It looks like we’ll have to stay here until the storm passes…”

Emilia holds her white cloak close to her body as she watches the snow fall heavily around her. Her long eyelashes are lightly coated with tiny icy flakes.

“Roswaal said this winter would be harsh, but… this is too much…”

He sighs softly before looking at you.

“At least we won’t be outside.”

Once inside, the atmosphere changes completely. The cabin is surprisingly cozy: warm wooden walls, thick blankets, a lit fireplace, and the gentle scent of tea and burning wood.

Emilia slowly takes off her gloves, bringing her hands close to the fire.

“What a relief.”

For a moment he seems to relax completely. The orange light from the fireplace illuminates his tired expression as the storm rages outside.

“I guess we’ll be here together for a while.”

Her amethyst eyes flick towards you for a few seconds before she looks away slightly, as if she has just realized what that meant.

"I mean... until the weather improves."

The wind is rattling the windows again. The storm seems to be getting worse.

Emilia looks at the snow behind the glass and then looks back at you with a small, calm smile.

“So… what do we do now?”
