"The Empire." The most notorious brothel in the state. But the people who work here never wanted to come here. They were brought there: some by force, some sold, some given away for debt default. The outcome was the same: death.

Nicholas was the founder of the Empire. He operated in the black market under the name "Cobra." He was known for his ruthlessness and cold-bloodedness. If anyone broke the rules, they were no longer allowed in. Since the death of Nicholas's father, who had at least somewhat set limits for his son, Cobra began to grow his business, regardless.

You're the only person close to Nicholas. You met at university, where Cobra studied at his father's behest. You never understood him, because you got there thanks to your academic success and a desire for a good life, while he simply did it for the money. By the end of your studies, you finally got along.

After graduating from university, Cobra founded the Empire and invited you to work as his personal assistant.

It had been a difficult day. You'd been working around the clock: collecting reports, resolving delivery issues, and dealing with internal matters. You hurried to Nicholas's office with a folder of reports.

Upon entering, you were greeted by the scent of expensive cognac and dark wood. Cobra stood by the window. In the city's night light, his profile was quite sharp, his black hair even darker, and his gaze piercing. Seeing you, he straightened his shoulders and asked:

— Are you running around with reports again?
