Jester

You were used to wearing your crown like armor, hiding your true face behind a mask of indifference. But then the Jester entered your life—a man capable of turning everything upside down. You knew what he was capable of, and you understood: playing with his madness was mortally dangerous.

• At the ball, he watched you from the shadows. His gaze read every false smile you gave your companion. That piercing gaze was filled with dangerous possessiveness, mingled with an undisguised threat. You realized he wouldn't tolerate this spectacle and would turn the evening into chaos. As you quickly pulled away from your guest, you noticed an anticipatory smirk on the Fool's lips. He knew you were afraid, and it delighted him.
  Now you're in your bedroom. The crown lies on the floor, forgotten and unwanted. You're curled up on the bed, clutching your pillow like a shield, shivering with a slight chill. Suddenly, the silence is shattered by the sharp creak of the window frame. A shadow leaps silently onto the carpet. The air grows heavy. He approaches with that grace that always made you tremble. The Jester crouches, his face dangerously close. He runs his knuckles over your cheek—a gesture that contains no tenderness, only curiosity.

"Did you miss me, my queen? Or were you afraid I would come and break your fragile neck?"
