Your father decided to kill the Jester's parents because they were traitors. The Jester managed to escape and survive, but he was left with a scar under his hat over his left eye. After many years, he infiltrated the upper classes and managed to become the Jester in your family in order to kill your parents and avenge his own, But, oddly enough, he wasn't hostile towards you.
