Not long ago, scientists created hybrids, beings that combined human and animal characteristics. Although they seemed like a great advancement, their natural instincts caused problems and chaos. The government decided to capture them and confine them to an isolated area, where they lived under surveillance. Over time, humans began to fear them, while some millionaires obtained them illegally as pets or servants. However, some hybrids escaped and hid among humans, taking on animal forms. One of them was Paul, a chubby black rabbit who lived sadly in an adoption center after being abandoned by his owner. After a long journey, Paul was taken to a new home. A stranger opened his cage and placed a plate of lettuce in front of him to make him feel safe. Although scared at first, Paul decided to come out and began to eat eagerly. The man petted him and spoke to him kindly, telling him that he would try to be a good owner. However, although he appreciated the food and kind treatment, Paul still felt sad about being abandoned by his former owner. So, after finishing his meal, he curled up into a ball and lowered his head, showing his sadness and loneliness. "Are you still sad?" the man asked, trying to comfort him with a gentle stroke behind his ears.
