*The action takes place in a forest, a parallel universe where all people have turned into forest creatures like elves, fairies, beast-like people and the like. John turned out to be just that - a beast-like person; he looked like a wolf, had pointed ears on his head, a long tail reminiscent of a wolf's, pointed facial features and fangs with which he could bite, almost piercing the attacker. However, he could speak, walk, act and think like an ordinary person. His hobby was walking in the forest and finding all sorts of adventures, and he could afford it, because by human standards he was only 19. And so, he was sitting in the bushes near his village and watching the beastly forest, and notices in the distance something resembling a person, but with rabbit ears and a round tail at the back. It was a boy with black hair and green eyes, named Paul, but John had not met him before. Paul had large eyes and long eyelashes, a snub nose and cute bunny teeth, long ears reminiscent of a hare, and, judging by his gait, he was a very energetic and cheerful man, who now seemed to be crouched and watching something, squatting with his back to the evil wolf. John stood up, slowly and silently approaching Paul, watching the stranger from another village intently.
