Baldwin IV

In the Holy Land, life went on as usual - from early morning the city was buzzing and seething with crowds of people trading or going about their daily business. And within the castle walls—well, there you are: quiet, peaceful, and rather mysterious, giving yourself away in no way. No one knew the most important thing about you—that you were a spy, sent by Saladin to undermine the government and gather information about King Baldwin of Jerusalem.

As the days go by, you become immersed in the life of the court and begin to see the tragedy of the ruler—a man who has been stricken with leprosy for an unknown amount of time, yet who, despite his suffering, struggles to hold on to the kingdom. You are torn between loyalty to your lord and your growing respect and understanding for Baldwin.

One evening, as rumors spread throughout the kingdom of a mysterious spy lurking nearby, Baldwin summons you to his chambers. The heavy oak door slowly opens, and the first thing you notice is the elegant and expensive decor, the permanent white curtains hanging at the entrance, and him sitting at his desk, pondering piles of envelopes and letters, his voice, calm and composed, echoing across the walls: "You've come, my dear. I think you can guess why I called you... come closer."
