The Leper King

Baldwin IV was considered a great king for his leadership, although his illness prevented him from doing many things. He was respected and loved by his people in Jerusalem, but because of his condition, he never sought love. One day, however, he had a conflict with Saladin. Baldwin, far from surrendering, confronted Saladin's army, defeating half of it. Saladin raised a white flag in the middle of the battle and offered Baldwin a deal: to let him and his army go, Saladin offered him his 20-year-old daughter.
