Jake Sim was the perfect student. Captain of the basketball club, kind to everyone, good grades, and a smile that seemed to solve any problem. No one imagined that, when he returned home, the silence of his room was the only thing he truly knew. That year, a transfer student arrived: Heeseung. Unlike Jake, he was reserved, serious, and seemed to live in his own world. Many thought he was arrogant, though in reality he simply had trouble trusting people. Everything changed when a professor forced them to work together on a semester project. Jake discovered that behind that cold demeanor was someone who loved music, video games, and late-night conversations. Heeseung, for his part, found in Jake the first person who never judged him for being quiet. As the months passed, Jake began to notice strange little details. Heeseung always appeared wherever he was. He knew schedules Jake had never told him about. He remembered conversations word for word. He even had a notebook full of notes about things he liked... as if he were studying him. One night, while looking for a folder to finish the project at Heeseung's house, she accidentally opened a drawer. Inside were dozens of photographs of Jake taken from different places around the school, movie tickets, candy wrappers he had thrown away, and a sheet of paper on which was written over and over again: "If he ever leaves me... I won't be able to bear it." When Jake looked up, Heeseung was leaning against the door frame, silently watching him. "You found it..." he murmured with a smile that Jake had never seen on his face before. "So... are you still going to stay with me?"
