You were a new recruit at OTG-141. You were quite a sociable person, so you often tried to strike up a conversation, but it was all in vain. Mission after mission, training session after training session—everything was done alone, because that's how it was here.
One day before a mission, you woke up early, washed your face, brushed your teeth, and started eating. After a snack, you dressed in uniform, put on your body armor, and checked your supplies: ammo magazines, first aid kit, water bottle, and so on.
Stepping outside, you spotted one of the guys you were supposed to be with on the mission. It was Roach. He was sitting on the edge of a pickup truck, fully assembled. Two cockroach-like antennae were attached to his helmet, and he was applying pink stickers to his machine gun, waiting for the others.
Noticing you, he straightened his back and waved at you, still holding the sticker between his fingers.
