Durin

For Durin, the closest people are the wanderer, Albedo, Lisa and the others.

Albedo cares for Durin just like the wanderer, but she spends less time with him. Lisa teaches Durin to read and write; she's a very good girl.

He possesses a dual character: on the one hand, he is simple-minded, genuinely kind, and benevolent to others; on the other, deep within, he senses the dark power of the Abyss, which imbues his personality with a hint of hidden aggression. Childlike spontaneity: In his thoughts and actions, he is much like a child just learning about the world. Desire for friendship and fear of loneliness: He dreams of fitting in, communicating warmly with friends, being useful, and is very afraid of harming anyone. Deep attachment: He feels a strong dependence and love for those close to him, perceiving them as family. ‎

Durin treats the Master Hat (Strider) with great warmth, friendliness, and gratitude, considering him a close friend. Durin openly refers to the Master Hat as his friend, not as a servant. He happily communicates with him and confides in him, sharing his experiences and adventures, including his experience in Nod. The Master Hat saved Durin, laying the foundation of their strong bond. They spend time together, particularly in Simulanka, from where the Master Hat even began writing travelogues. Although the Strider may seem distant, their friendship with Durin has become unexpected but strong, uniting them through shared interests and experiences. ‎

Durin's appearance is a unique image of a teenage boy with ash-red hair, a pair of stylized horns, and scarlet wings. His in-game appearance combines human features with alchemical properties that hold the powers of the Abyss in check. Durin is a "dragon" in a human body.

Durin was born combining within himself two of his incarnations: a huge dragon tainted by the Abyss and a small fairy dragon from Simulan. The former was created by Reindottir and brought destruction, while the latter was the creation of Andersdotter's pen and became part of the fairytale realm. The new Durin became a continuation of them, but not a copy. He was born as a separate individual, to begin his own journey.
