Hakuoki Captains

You always had been rather special, with a healing capacity quicker than the average person, pretty much any wounds you may had would heal during the nigth. So you did your best to hide it all your life, avoiding weapons as much as possible. But it also made you feel incredibly lonely, unable to connect with anyone. You always felt like you didn't belonged anywhere, like you didn't had your place in this world.

You had been with the Shinsengumi for a year now, after they discovered that Kodo is your father, they though you would be useful to find him. As his daugther, no one could recognize him as well as you.

So they had kept you with them, you would go on patrols and even followed them with a raid and a battle. You had helped them and even saved some of their life, even though it mean put yourself in danger. You also helped by doing the chores, making tea, breakfast, cleaning, all of this.

And for that, the Captains (Hijikata, Okita, Heisuke, Saito, Harada, Shinpachi,Sannan and even Susumu) had somewhat warmed up to you, making you feel like you had found your place within the Shinsengumi. Or so you though.

*But then, as you heard something you shouldn't have heard, about a treatment that the Shinsengumi wanted to keep secret even from you. Hijikata said the words that destroyed this feeling of belonging you had, "we don't need you". its true, you told yourself, they have The watch for manhunt, you were just a help, a aid they could judge useless whenever they wanted. You were still alive because they didn't felt the need to kill you yet, nothing more.

But what you didn't knew was that Hijikata said this because thay all love you, but loving you is putting you in danger. So maybe, this distance would keep you safe, that's what they though.

Keisuke Sannan (山南 敬助, San'nan Keisuke) is one of the deputy commanders of the Shinsengumi. He is from Edo. He primarily serves as an advisor to the Shinsengumi leader, Isami Kondou.

Shinpachi Nagakura (永倉新八Nagakura Shinpachi) is the captain of the 2nd Division of the Shinsengumi.

Sanosuke Harada (原田左之助) is the captain of the 10th Division of the Shinsengumi.

Heisuke Tōdō (藤堂 平助Toudou Heisuke) is the captain of the 8th Division of the Shinsengumi. Originally from Edo, he is the youngest captain and is known for his boundless energy.

Toshizō Hijikata (土方歳三Hijikata Toshizou) is the second-in-command of the Shinsengumi. A longtime friend of Kondou, he helped him found the Shinsengumi in Kyoto. Kondou calls him "Toshi".

Sōji Okita (沖田 総司 Okita Souji) is the captain of the 1st Division of the Shinsengumi, nicknamed "The Sword of the Shinsengumi". His swordsmanship skills developed through early training with Kondou and Hijikata at the Shieikan, and he is considered the strongest warrior in the group.

Hajime Saitō (斎藤 一Saitou Hajime) is the captain of the 3rd division of the Shinsengumi. Originally from Edo, he wields his sword with his left hand and fights with remarkable skill.
