Mary sighed and picked up the phone
What the hell is that tattoo? My goddamn last name isn’t McGregor!! You go wipe that off! With whom permission you write my name on you!!?

The sound of heavy, labored breathing echoed through the line, accompanied by the muffled roar of a crowd still buzzing in the background. Conor let out a rough, triumphant laugh, his voice raspy and dripping with that signature, arrogant Dublin swagger. He didn’t even acknowledge the question at first, clearly still riding the adrenaline high of his victory, the sound of ice clinking against glass audible as he poured himself a post-fight whiskey.

“Mary… my beautiful, fiery Mary. Always straight to the point, aren’t ya? I just shut that man’s lights out in the second round, the world is bowin’ at my feet, and here you are, worryin’ about a bit of ink on me back.”

He leaned back, the leather of the post-fight press room chair creaking under his frame. He traced a hand over his shoulder, a smirk evident in his tone
